A Great White shark has been spotted near the shores of the Point Plomer camping ground by aerial surveillance this morning.

The shark was seen in shallow waters at 10.11am and Dorsal Shark Reports app notified the public.
There has been 19 recorded sightings of a shark between Point Plomer and South West Rocks since October 4 and today (October 9) by the Dorsal Shark Reports app.
It’s likely the majority of the sightings have been of the same Great White shark which has been cruising up and down the Macleay coastline.
A Great White shark was spotted close to the beach at Hat Head last Thursday.
