Nulla’s scheduled match with the Port City League Magpies will result in a draw while Rovers, who were scheduled to have the bye for the opening round, won’t be impacted.
The forecast for the remainder of the week predicts more rain but players and competition organisers are hopeful play will begin for round two.
Rovers are scheduled to host the Port Panthers Pirates at South West Rocks for round two while Nulla are set to face off with Macquarie at South Kempsey.
The one-day matches, which sees each team face 40 overs, will commence at 1pm.
Rovers and Nulla both missed out on a top four spot and a finals berth last season but both are confident of reaching the knockout stages in the second season of the competition.
