With all the rain of last week which saw the start of the cricket season washed out, the staging of the 2018 Dyet Memorial Golf Day at the Kempsey Golf Club did go ahead despite only a small field hitting off in the 18 Hole Single Stableford event. The day was in honour of three former club members who were a big part of the club for a long time. Cecil who was the former club captain for over 20 years and Margaret and son Michael were also long time members. To the club from the Dyet family a big thank you for letting the day go ahead and to all the players on the day thank you.
