Some of Australia’s best bull riders and fiercest bucking bulls will hit the arena at Kempsey Showground on November 3 for the Farley Brothers Charity Bull Riding event.
It’s not all about the glory as the event will again raise money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Fresh off a win at the Hunter Valley is Turner’s Flat bull rider, Tom Donnelly.
He’ll certainly be looking for a hometown victory.
Donnelly is a multi-talented rodeo and equestrian athlete who also competes on the local camp drafting circuit.
It’s not the first time Donnelly has competed at the event and he is hotly-tipped to put on a good show for his hometown supporters.
“Local rider Tom Donnelly, still only 19, will be competing and is starting to make a name for himself in the sport,” said Pete.
There will also be Australian champions Cody Heffernan, from Singleton and Jason O’Hearn competing.
The best bull riders in the country will be there."
