The school's P&C is holding the event to raise funds to purchase equipment for the school's playground - and it's not far from its target.
Local artists include Elizabeth MacDonald, Latileta Alefaio, Pip Eppelstun, Carly Marchment, Jason Ridgeway, Sharon Lamb, Maddie Castro, Scott and Robyn Jackson, Gordon Rossiter, Adam Williams, Pete Gailey, Leigh and Michelle Lamey and Gail English - just to name a few.
“Events like these couldn’t happen without the support of our community and we are thankful to everyone who has contributed," the art show committee said.
“Not only is it great for our school but also the community of Crescent Head to showcase what a great place we live in.”
With community in mind, the Crescent Head Community Preschool is also collaborating with the P&C to raise money for a new building project and will be holding auction and raffles over the weekend.
So dust off your frocks and celebrate at the opening night (an adults only event) on November 17 from 5.30pm. There will be entertainment by The Teachers (school staff band), pop-up restaurant by Happy Kitchen, Bucket Brewery and an auction. To purchase tickets, which cost $50, contact the school.
On the Sunday there will be a family art day, which includes art classes (you need to book through the school at a cost of $12) hosted by the Gladstone Country Women's Association Evening Branch as well as cupcake decorating, craft, face painting, cake stall and gold coin donation for the art show.
