The group will be there to shed urgent light on the current situation, provide general information about the Adani mine and share ways that you can help to stop Adani’s mine.
The Stop Adani group aims to prevent Adani’s mine from going ahead, as it will have catastrophic impacts on ground water, the climate and the Great Barrier Reef.
The Stop Adani group expressed its gratitude towards the people who have taken time to listen to their fears and help spread awareness.
The group has knocked on more than 100 doors in Gladstone and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
The response has reflect recent polls which show 63 per cent of Australians were oppossed to the Adani mine and 75 per cent of Australians believed Climate Change was a problem we need to act on now.
