On Friday, November 30, from 6-9pm there will be live performances, old-fashioned games, food, drinks, scones, raffles, face painting and of course Santa, who will be in attendance to see all the good girls and boys. Santa will be available for family photos and local services will have information stalls set up. Personalised Santa hats will also be available.
Musical acts will include Kempsey duo Karen and Jim Pike and Gladstone local Heath Lancaster. Joining them will be the Principal and Vice Principal from Crescent Head Primary School in a band called “The Teachers”, along with a whole swag of other talented local musicians.
The children of the local Pre and Primary schools will also take the stage to sing carols, led by renowned Soprano, Jade Riordan, who is on a short break before kicking off her next National Tour with ‘The Ten Sopranos’ in March 2019.
The rest of the entertainment will include local dance schools performing a few numbers.
The P&C’s of the three local schools take care of the food with a BBQ and G-Man Sushi will be onsite as well to tempt your taste buds with fresh sushi. Rounding out the menu will be the ladies of the Gladstone CWA serving plates of the BEST scones ever-baked using the official CWA scone recipe.
It's $5 for a single entry and $10 for a family. This is a dry event and there is strictly no alcohol. All funds raised are going towards the Lower Macleay Education Network.
Everyone is welcome, bring a picnic rug and stretch out on the lawn with your family and friends.
