Nulla and South West Rocks have extended their lead at the top of the Macleay Valley Cricket Association’s first grade ladder after earning outright victories in their two-day matches against Rovers and Stuarts Point/Eungai.

Nulla put together a dominant performance, to defeat Rovers by an innings and 48 runs.
Troy Ward’s 154 runs laid the platform for Nulla while bowlers Martin Nicholls and Nicholas Morrison combined to take 13 wickets in the victory.
Meanwhile it was a team effort which resulted in South West Rocks securing a win by an innings and 30 runs.
After the weekend’s results, Nulla remain in first position while South West Rocks are one competition point behind.
Rovers are in third position but trail South West Rocks by 19 competition points.
Stuarts Point/Eungai are winless.
