Six of Rovers’ batsmen reached double figures but only Ethan Dowling (22) managed to surpass 20 as the other five gave up their wicket cheaply.
It led to Rovers being dismissed for 118 in the 29th over, as the side failed to bat out their 40 overs for the fourth time this season.
Wingham’s batsmen came out firing in reply and surpassed the total at the end of the 11th over.
Rovers have won one of their six games but bowler Matt Scott claims the side remains motivated to reach their peak this season.
“We all know we are a better cricket team then what we have been showing and we are determined to prove that to the rest of the competition,” Scott said.
While not much went Rovers’ way on Saturday, Scott said there was still some positives to come from the game.
“The majority of our batters got a start which is good but we need to make sure we convert on those opportunities and make a decent score,” Scott said.
“There isn’t much to say about our bowling. One of their openers came out and just went bang from the get go. He was on 50 inside 4 overs, all we could honestly do was stand there and laugh.”
Rovers will take on Macquarie this Saturday in a battle of the cellar dwellers.
Rovers and Macquarie are in equal last place on the ladder.
