Riding for the Disabled Kempsey-Macleay Centre held their annual presentation and Christmas break-up on November 27. Riders, parents, carers, volunteers all got together to celebrate another successful year.

The entertainment was provided by Andrew from Smile Productions. He has become a favourite at their annual celebrations. After a few games and a visit from Santa everyone enjoyed a barbecue lunch.
All riders received a trophy and the High School Student volunteers were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
The Debbie Lee Memorial Trophy, for courage and Inspiration was awarded to Joshua Davies.
West Kempsey High School students help out at weekly lessons as part of their Equine Studies and are an invaluable source of assistance each week. Many have horses of their own.
It was announced that the centre will again have some of its riders attending and competing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2019. This will be the eighth time the Kempsey-Macleay Centre attends the show.
The primary objective of Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is to provide most people with a disability, the opportunity to ride and enjoy all the activities connected with horse riding.
Riding for people with a disability is both therapeutic and recreational.
Riding lessons re-commence in February 2019 at the Kempsey Showground.
