Despite the scare of a storm, families and friends gathered in full at the Kempsey racecourse, picnic baskets in-hand, to enjoy a relaxing night of entertainment, prizes and carolling.
Talented dancers from the Vogue Performing Arts Academy donned vibrant costumes and wowed the crowd with stunning performances including a cheer-leading routine and a flash mob surprise.
The Kempsey Silver Band and carollers filled the night with everyone’s favourite Christmas songs while kids let loose on the jumping castle, giant slippery dip and tea-cup rides.
Guests were also treated to a demonstration from the Rhee International Taekwando team who wowed the audience with their skills.
Fairy floss, ice-cream, a BBQ dinner, a taekwondo demonstration and a Santa visit were other highlights from the night.
