A RURAL Crime Investigator and police attached to the Mid North Coast Police District attended a property at Collombatti in relation to a Firearm Prohibition Order investigation on Thursday.

While at the property, police located and seized more than 200 cannabis plants growing on the property and more than two kilograms of cannabis leaf and head stored inside the residence.
A 31-year-old man from Collombatti was arrested and conveyed to the Kempsey Police Station.
The man was charged with: the cultivation of more than the indictable quantity of cannabis; supplying and prohibited drug; and possessing a prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail and appeared at the Kempsey Local Court on Friday January 18 where he received conditional bail to appear at the Kempsey Local Court on Monday February 11.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $500,000.
