The Magpies set a total of 150 runs from their twenty overs and Rovers ultimately ran out of batsman in their run chase as they reached 141 before they were dismissed with one ball remaining in their innings.
Magpies’ Ben Marron did the majority of the damage as he reached 87 runs before he was dismissed.
Rovers had multiple players get a start as Jye Woodger (33), Ethan Brown (18), Mitch Korn (21), Josh Brenton (12) and Jackson Korn (10) contributed to the total but they lacked a player who went on to record a massive score.
The loss dropped Rovers out of contention for the Twenty20 final, which will be played out by Macquarie and Wingham, who both went through the pool round undefeated.
The grand final will be played this Saturday with the regular Premier League season to return the following week.
Rovers have the bye on February 2 but will return to action against the Magpies on February 9.
