However, despite earning plenty of top two placings, the club’s lead in the overall standings was reduced to 11-points as Woolgoolga extended their streak to four straight round victories.
The Masters 160s continued their perfect season as they finished in first place for the sixth consecutive time to extend their lead at the top.
Meanwhile, Kempsey-Crescent Head remain in the lead in the Whale Cup despite their second place finish to Woolgoolga.
The local club earned a disappointing result in the hotly contested Open Men’s division as they finished in last position and relinquished their lead.
The Open Women were also bested by Woolgoolga and they now share the lead with their rivals.
The Masters 200s finished in third position in round six and trail Macksville-Scotts Head by three competition points.
Kempsey-Crescent Head Surf Boat captain Scott Edwards remained upbeat and said the crews will continue to work hard to improve.
“It wasn’t our best day out but we will keep on training,” Edwards said.
The club’s focus turns to the next North Coast Surf Boat Boat series round held at Bonny Hills in early March.
