The Macleay Valley Mustangs senior grades will return to the field for the first time since they were forced to withdraw halfway through the season of the Group Three Rugby League first grade competition last season in a trial match in February.

The scheduled trial match at Verge St Oval, Kempsey against Northern United will be the first step towards regrouping and moving forward after a season of turmoil.
The Mustangs will compete in all four grades on the day, with Ladies league Tag kicking off the action in the morning.
The trial match is on February 23.
Macleay Valley will also play in the pre-season Group Three Rugby League competition scheduled to take place in March.
The Group Three Rugby League season kicks off in the first week of April.
