Rovers’ bowlers managed to restrict Nulla to a total of 203 as they dismissed the top-placed side in the 34th over.
Corey Crotty (64) top scored for Nulla while Adam Stutz (33), Matt Haydon (28) and Angus Crotty (18) all chimed in to contribute to the total.
Rovers began their run chase in fine form as openers Brett Hutley (70) and Paul Hutley (26) helped get the side on the front foot.
Once dismissed, Jarrod Prosper (54) came to the crease to chip away at the total.
Rovers hit the winning runs with seven overs remaining and for the loss of five wickets.
The victory closes the gap between the two sides as Nulla now sit nine competition points ahead of Rovers, who are in second place.
Nulla are still the clear favourites to take out the minor premiership with three rounds remaining but these sides will do battle once again in the final round of the regular season on Saturday March 9.
In the other first grade game on Saturday, South West Rocks successfully defended their 149 total as they dismissed Stuarts Point/Eungai for 128.
