In the junior division, batsman retire after facing 40 balls, which makes Paix's century an even more remarkable and unique feat.
The 14-year-old recently made his debut for the Nulla first grade side and played in representative carnivals over the Christmas and New Year Period.
Thomas' father Ben, who also coaches the Under-14s team, believes this has contributed to his development and growth as a player.
"It was probably the best I have seen him bat, he didn't play and silly shots, it was a very mature innings," Ben told the Argus.
"Tom has played five games for first grade over the past seven weeks and has played a total of 41 matches over the summer when you include representative carnivals so it all definitely helps.
"I've never seen or heard of someone score a century in the junior competitions when you can only face 40 balls, so I think that's pretty special."
Tom retired for 101 and helped lead his side to a score of 6/207 off their 25 overs.
Tom's teammates Mitchell Wheeldon (10), Lincoln von Mengersen (16), Beau Spiteri (16) and Pat Preston (22) also earned personal bests with the bat.
"I am a very proud father and coach. It's get to see the kids go out there and do better than they have in the past," Paix said.
Nulla secured the victory as they restricted Rovers to 171.
