According to Weatherzone, Kempsey and Crescent Head received 8.2mm of rain yesterday, while South West Rocks had 4mm. Our neighbours to the north in Coffs Harbour had a decent rainfall with 22mm reportedly bucketing down in a monster storm that also had strong winds and hail.
Today Kempsey could see a possible thunderstorm and reach highs of 31 degrees. The weekend is supposed to be a wet one with 10-20mm of rain predicted for Saturday and 1-5mm on Sunday. Monday could bring a possible shower and a top temperature of 30 degrees.
Tuesday is forecast for more possible showers and a 5-10mm rainfall; temperatures are supposed to reach 30 degrees. Wednesday continues the trend with possible showers and a top temperature of 29 degrees. Thursday is supposed to be mostly sunny; however, there is the distinct possibility Kempsey will experience a 1-5mm rainfall.
Over in South West Rocks, today is expected to be foggy and reach highs of 29 degrees. Saturday has possible showers and rainfall of 10-20mm. Sunday will bring potential thunderstorms and a chance of 1-5mm of rain.
Monday has possible thunderstorms and a chance of 1-5mm, temperatures could reach 27 degrees. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are forecast to have storms and reach highs of 28 degrees.
Crescent Head has a similar forecast to Kempsey today with a possible thunderstorm and highs of 31 degrees. The weekend has showers, and 10-20mm of rain predicted for Saturday and 1-5mm on Sunday. Monday could bring a possible shower and a top temperature of 30 degrees.
Tuesday could see more wet weather with possible showers and a 5-10mm rainfall. Wednesday is expected to have possible showers and a top temperature of 29 degrees. Thursday is supposed to be mostly sunny; however, there is the possibility of rain in the afternoon.
