Highlights included Andrew Woodward, Rob Oakeshott, Susan Jenvey, Arthur Bain and Dean Saul taking to the stage to play "I'm a Politician ... Get Me Out Of Here!" while showing off their culinary skills to make canapes.
Meanwhile, Les Girls legends Christy McNicol and Penny Clifford performed an ABBA tribute that ended with some pollies revealing they had once been members of the ABBA fan club!
Most importantly though, the event honoured everyone who was ignored at the recent Australia Day event, with certificates and accolades given out to Citizen of the Year nominees Allan Simpkins, Kes Zvirzdinas and Ronald and Mark Wan.
Macleay Valley Home Hospice said that hospital quality furniture, for people to use in their homes, is not inexpensive so a donation like this can assist more people to stay at home with their loved ones.
Their equipment is regularly inspected as only top quality equipment in excellent condition is supplied. The Hospice also provides delivery and maintenance, as well as all regular electrical testing.
