The Under 12s are already off to a great start this season, attending their first representative carnival, which was held at Grafton. They walked away with six wins and a draw.
Carnival number two was at the Great Lakes, in Forster. The girls encountered some excellent competition and achieved five wins and two losses.
There was great defence and rebounds from Maddie, Tay, Liv, Fern and Ava. This went a long way towards limiting the oppositions' scoring opportunities. In the centre court, Ruby, Evie, and Fern had amazing speed and quick feeds to the shooter. Speaking of shooters, Claire, Hope, and Erin put in a great effort with their goal scoring.
A fantastic dig from all the girls who showed great team encouragement and support. Their skills are improving with each carnival.
The team is fortunate to have amazing assistance and leadership from coaches Jo Simon and Gemma Rostron.
The 12s rep team will hold a fundraiser barbecue on Sunday at Nambucca Woolworths to help meet the costs of going to Sydney in July for Junior State Titles.
