Macleay entered all of their representative teams including the Under-12/13's Development side, 12s, 13s, 14s 15s and 17s.
Overall the teams performed well and gave their coaches a chance to see what combinations worked on the court and what they needed to work on, as most of the teams were attending their first representative carnival of the season.
These carnivals are a great opportunity for the teams to play games in preparation for the Stage and Stage Age Championships coming up in June and July this year.
These games allow the coaches to put into action all of the hard work that goes into the team training every week. It also helps them improve on areas they see within these games they need to work on.
The teams played up to eight games on Sunday and showed they have what it takes to with stand the gruelling three day competitions that State and Stage Age are, up against teams from all over NSW.
The Under-15's and 17's teams attend the State Championships on the Long Weekend in June in Camden whilst the 12-15 years teams will head to Penrith for the State Age Championships on the July 6, 7 and 8.
All coaches are more than happy with their respective team's progress so far and look forward to the weeks and carnivals ahead preparing their teams.
The Association would like to thank all those that travelled down to Forster to umpire at the carnival, as without them they wouldn't be able to attend.
