The Rangers secured a miraculous 5-3 extra-time victory in last year's decider but a lot has changed since the historic day.
New coach Chris Walker is leading a young side into battle but he embraces the challenge Wallis Lake pose.
Walker is expecting to face a similar Wallis Lake side and admits his side will need to improve on their round one performance.
"I think they will be pretty much the same as last season, they have had the same core group of players for the last few years," Walker told the Argus.
"I think if it is a similar team then they will be out for revenge.
"We need to improve defensively, especially at set pieces, where we will have to mark their players tightly.
"Wallis like to turn the ball over and attack quickly so we will need to be ready for that."
Walker has been forced to make a change to the side which earned a 3-2 victory over the Forster-Tuncurry Tigers in the season opener.
Brett Morn is unavailable for selection and Tristan Smith, who has been coming off the bench for first grade this season, will make his club debut.
Walker is hopeful his side can maintain the peaks they had in their round one clash.
"We had a great 30-minute period, we need to do that for at least 60-70 minutes."
