The South West Rocks Marlins have put the Hastings League competition on notice after they thrashed the Comboyne Tigers 74-12 at home on Saturday.

That Marlins' intimidating forward pack laid the foundation for the backs to showcase their class as they ran away with the contest in the second half.
Steve Walker and Tony Duncan, who was making his return to the Marlins, were dominant up front.
The platform opened up opportunities for Chris Leonard, Jordan Smith, Curtly Scott and Zac Witchard on the edge and they broke the line on several occasions.
Jimmy Evans' hit ups through out the match were very strong and Evans continually had the Tigers on the backfoot.
The home team's halves pairing of Mal Webster and Neville Donavan capitalised on the extra room and the Tigers were no match against the exhilarating Marlins attack.
The Marlins raced out to a commanding 28-0 lead before Comboyne got on the board.
The Tigers scored twice but the Marlins answered before the break to take the score to 34-12.
The onslaught continued after the break as the Tigers had no answer.
The Marlins scored 40-points after half-time as they ensured they would retain their top spot on the ladder.
Webster, who recently joined the Marlins, crossed the line four times in a brilliant display in attack.
The Marlins have a bye for round four.
