As part of the campaign, council and Kempsey Macleay RSL Photographic club are running the #IlovetheMacleayValleyCoast photo competition. The competition is aimed at inspiring day-trippers to visit and discover the region's natural assets and vibrant community.
The competition is open from April 1-30 and invites locals to submit their favourite photo of the Macleay Valley Coast via social media to be in the running for a number of prizes including an Akubra hat, a coffee table photography book and a large tin of Milo.
There have been some amazing entries coming in for week two of the competition. There have been a number of spectacular sunsets and sunrises from across the Macleay including Jerseyville, Kempsey, South West Rocks and Bellbrook.
There is a selection of entries in the gallery above.
