Hundreds of locals from the Macleay Valley will flock to Kempsey Showground for the annual Kempsey Show tomorrow and Wednesday.

This year is set to be bigger than ever with a number of new attractions rolling into town.
All of the action gets underway tomorrow morning when the gates open at 8am.
Trucks and attractions packed with delicious carnival food and rides rolled into the showground today with last minute set up taking place.

The daily program for tomorrow includes dairy cattle judging, dog trials, show jumping, a young farmers challenge, chainsaw post ripping competition, fireworks and the official opening of the 2019 Kempsey Show at 7pm.
The fun-filled action continues on Wednesday with the horse events, cattle judging, the grand parade, camp draft, ladies smash up derby, dog jumping and the blokes smash up derby.
President of the Kempsey Show Society, Donna Clarke, said the new attractions will be a delight for locals.
"There are a heap of new events that we're excited about this year, it's going to be a great show," she said.
The 2019 show will be officially opened by Member for Oxley Melinda Pavey and Lachy Townsend from Coastline Credit Union.
