A spokesperson told the Port News Ms Meads is an "inactive candidate who wishes to remain private".
Ms Meads has the top spot on the Cowper ballot.
The CDP would give no information or photograph of Ms Meads when contacted by the Port News.
Lead NSW Senate Candidate for the CDP, Silvana Nile, described Ms Meads as a "friend of the CDP" who had "asked that her details remain private".
Ms Nile said Ms Meads wanted to provide a sign to those voters who are "always looking for someone to give their Christian vote to in the Senate".
Ms Nile hopes votes from the House of Representatives will transfer to the Senate.
"When voters tend to vote for the CDP in the Lower House they usually transfer to the Upper House."
Ms Nile said the CDP was campaigning on three priorities.
" Zero tolerance for domestic violence, zero tolerance for child pornography and one law for all Australians, no Sharia Law, no Sharia Courts, freedom of speech, freedom of religion."
She believes that Australia has moved too far to the left and at the May 18 election there will be a swing the other way.
"I really believe we need to have leaders that will bring righteousness to our country.
"People are looking for a freshness and a truth, honesty and transparency in their candidates and politicians."
There are eight candidates running in the seat of Cowper.
They are Ruth Meads Christian Democratic Party, Nationals Pat Conaghan, Alexander Stewart from the United Australia Party, Andrew Woodward from the Labor Party, Independent Robert Oakeshott, Lauren Edwards from the Greens, Kellie Pearce from the Animal Justice Party and Independent Allan Green.
The Federal Election will be help on May 18.
