The event will be held at Kempsey Showground with a large number of felines set to be on display.
"We have an outstanding number of exhibits and club members are very pleased with how entries have shaped up for this year's event with over 120 exhibits entered," Kemspey Kat Klub secretary Julie Fitzhenry said.
"We have consistently held the largest cat show on the Mid North Coast since the club's inception in 1990 and we are hoping for this year's event to be as successful as our previous shows have been."
Some of the unusual breeds that will be on display are American Shorthair, Norwegian Forest Cat, Selkirk Rex, Sphnyx and Scottish Fold.
There will also be everyone's favourite breeds including Persian, Ragdoll, Exotic, Maine Coon, Siamese, Bengal, British Shorthair and many more.
"We also include a very popular section for Companions - those cats and kittens without a pedigree or are pedigree lookalikes," Ms Fitzhenry said.
Judging will be Australian Open Style, which means that teh public will be able to watch the judging as it happens and admire the many felines on exhibition.
There is an entry fee of $5 for a family, adults are $2 and pensioners and children are $1.
The shop will be open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday May 26 at the Kempsey Showground.
