The annual Head to Head Walk Run 2019 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever with the Crescent Head Lions Club gearing up for the event.

Registrations for the fun run will open on June 13, with the 5km, 10km, 15km and 20km distances available.
"The registrations will close on August 21, just so we have time to sort everyone out in alphabetical order for the day. So the community has a couple of months to register, but places can fill up quickly," organiser of the Head to Head Jo Watts said.
Each year, all of the money raised form the event goes back into the local community.
"This year is the first time we're supporting Macleay Valley Diabetes Group. We like the money to go towards helping locals and this is a fantastic organisation in our community for us support."
Jo said without the support of the community and the sponsors the event wouldn't be possible.
"Without the sponsors, we wouldn't be able to have the event," she said.
"And the community supports us, so we like giving back and helping them."

The fun run will be held at Crescent Head on August 25 and is a smoke and pet free event.
Registrations will open on Thursday through the Head to Head website.
