The Cancer Council want to understand the community's needs and learn if there are any barriers accessing transport for cancer treatment in the area.
"We just want to find out if people have had problems with transport in the Kempsey area," Cancer Council community programs officer Louise Jeffs said.
"We're just really scoping at this stage to see if there is a gap with transport issues for cancer patients who are undergoing treatment.
"The information will help us better understand the problems faced by people in the Macleay Valley in accessing their cancer treatment."
If you or someone you know who needs to travel to receive cancer treatments from the Macleay Valley, contact Louise Jeffs on 6659-8414 or email Louise.Jeffs@nswcc.org.au.
