A win over the Port Saints Foxes this Saturday will result in Macleay Valley only requiring one more win in their final three games to claim the minor premiership.
The Rangers are also a win away from locking up a top two spot which will guarantee at least two finals games.
Macleay Valley has proven to have the best attack in the competition this season as they have found the back of the net on 59 occasions.
Meanwhile they boast the second strongest defence, conceding only 10 goals in 12 games.
The Vipers have the stingiest defence, allowing only eight goals - four were conceded in their one game against the Rangers this year.
