Sarah Lawerence has been selected as the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club's Sportsperson of the Month for July.

The 16-year-old competed in the Under-17 Macleay Netball Association representative side at the state championships.
Sarah has also earned selection into the North Coast Academy netball side and will compete at a state representative carnival in September.
The Melville High School student plays for Natureland in division one of the local league.
For her selection as Sportsperson of the Month, Sarah received a $100 voucher for the RSL's restaurant.

A sportsperson of the year will be decided upon in January 2020 with an additional voucher of $500 for the restaurant awarded to the winner.
A panel of judges from the Macleay Argus will determine the monthly and year winners of the award.
