South West Rocks Surf Club was the venue for a great display of photographic images provided by the Arts Council of South West Rocks last Sunday, August 11.
Many folders containing precious photos of past identities and places in the town were perused over by local history lovers, genealogy buffs and the general public.
There was also a constant parade of the photographs on a large screen for enjoying, by the over 200 hundred attendees- this, with the backdrop of trial bay at its sparkling best and the convenience of refreshments and excellent meals which South West Rock Surf Club provides was a great way to enjoy a wintry Sunday.
To help with proceedings the Macleay Valley Family History Group had a display table which outlined ways to research family history and many interesting tidbits on the local area also.
South West Rocks Arts Council would like to thank South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club for supplying the venue and The Macleay Valley Historical Society for their information and support.
