Macleay Valley Mustangs coach Russell Lardner has issued a stern warning for the Port City Breakers ahead of their preliminary final clash at Kempsey this Sunday.

"They better come prepared for war, we aren't going to be backing down," Lardner told the Argus.
"We are going to be coming at them the full 80-minutes."
Lardner claims the Breakers are "too cocky" and believes they will be taught a lesson in respect.
"They think they are going to come here and get an easy win, they think they are going to smash us," Lardner said.
"But they have another thing coming. We are the minor premiers for a reason and that's because we are in it to win it.
"They have made the grand final the last four years, but they aren't going to make it five."
However, he said his players are prepared to bounce back.
"Everyone knows that everything is on the line," Lardner said.
"It's do or die for us and we aren't going to be dying."
The first grade clash kicks off at Verge Street Oval at 3pm, but the preliminary finals commence with the Ladies League Tag at 11.30am.
