The next two weeks will see the top four teams in each division, from Under-12s through to the top Division 1, go head-to-head searching for a place in their respective division grand finals and the chance for their team to take the honours of 2019 premiers.
The semi-final format will see the first placed team verses the second placed team and the third placed team will take on the fourth placed team in each division.
The winner of first versus second will go straight into the grand final in a fortnights time and will earn the week off. The loser of this game will get a second chance and will take on the winner of third verses fourth.
The third verses fourth match is an elimination final and the season will be over for the losers of this game.
The Division 1 competition will be hotly contested, which will be no exception from previous years.
The first placed Natureland Thunder team have been undefeated so far this season as they have dominated the division. They will be tough to beat but finals are a whole new level of competition and it is anyone's for the taking.
The South West Rocks Corals and Crescent Head Vipers have both had strong seasons and they finished on equal points.
But it was the corals that came out on top of their beach rivals in second place based on their for and against scores, getting the advantage of that second place and two bites of the cherry with finals and the opportunity to book their place in the grand final with a win this Saturday.
Natureland Storm took the final spot to join their fellow club team in the top four which is great achievement for the Natureland club, as they have two teams contesting the premiership.
Overall the Division 1 finals this year are bound to be full of excitement and there will be some quality netball on display over the next three weeks.
All teams from the Under-12s through to the seniors will be pumped and ready for their finals campaigns and are hungry for the title which makes for an exciting end to the season for netball on the Macleay.
The Net, Set, Go, 10's (modified rules) and 11 years (first past the post) divisions will all play games as normal through to grand final day on September 7.
There is plenty more netball to come over the three weeks left for the season and the Macleay Netball Association wishes all clubs and teams, umpires and officials all the very best of luck.
