The three projects include the Crescent Head traffic and parking plan, the foreshore recreation and landscape plan and the town centre urban landscape plan.
The masterplan was developed between December 2016 and August 2017, following extensive consultation between the community and council.
The issues of public infrastructure, housing availability and protection of the natural environment were all highlighted as significant to the future of Crescent Head.
The traffic and parking investigations are underway and the information gathered from the investigations will help guide the preparation of landscape plans.
Following the investigations, council will hold a community workshop on October 3.
The day long interactive workshop will include working with landscape architect Dan Plummer and artist Belinda Smith to come up with an innovative, community focused approach.
Council's coordinator stretegic and environmental planning Steve Schwartz said council is encouraging locals to get involved in the workshop.
"We're seeking expressions of interest from residents to be involved in an intensive design workshop on October 3 to work with the experts to guide preparation of the landscape plans. Principles and concepts will form the basis of a design that will go back out for broader public feedback and further improvement early next year," he said.
"The Recreation and Landscape Plan for the Crescent Head foreshore and the Town Centre Urban Landscape Plan, which are both projects from Masterplan that was adopted in 2017."
If any locals are interested in attending the workshop, RSVP by September 19 here. It's advised locals get in early as places are limited. Participants will be notified by September 24 of the outcome.
The draft plans will then be made available to the community for feedback and further refinement in March 2020. Public exhibition of the final design and implementation plan is scheduled for April and May 2020.
