Thank you to everyone that took the time to apply. All applications provided details of wonderful initiatives to improve the Macleay Valley community.
It was certainly insightful for the assessing committee to understand the efforts being made by many people in advancing our community needs. I encourage all applicants to continue their efforts and keep Council updated on projects, as we all continue to explore ways to improve the Macleay Valley's future.
This year's applications ranged across social, economic, cultural and recreational themes. They covered sporting equipment, local school initiatives, signage for community events for Macleay Valley visitors and locals, mental health, technology, safety, and environmental initiatives.
The successful Mayoral Community Fund recipients are:
- Baylin's Gift Foundation,
- Horseshoe Bay Reserve park run,
- Kempsey District Silver Band,
- Kempsey Macleay Pensioners League Inc.,
- Kempsey Showground Light our Way,

- Macleay Valley Mountain Bikers Inc.,
