THREE armed men threatened early morning cleaners at the Kempsey Macleay RSL club during a brazen robbery this morning.

According to police, the intruders brandished a variety of weapons, and they managed to take off with some property.
No one was injured during the robbery.
"At this stage, we know that three men, one armed with a machete, a firearm, and what we believe to be a sword, threatened two cleaners, at 1 York Lane, Kempsey," Detective Chief inspector of the Mid North Coast Kim Fehon said.
"After a confrontation, the three men left with property; no money was taken."
"Thankfully no one was injured in the incident."
Police are currently investigating and are appealing for any witness or anyone with information to come forward and help with their inquiries.
