Selling the pub is bittersweet. It has been more than a business to us. The pub has been part of our family for the past 8.5 years. Our incredible team, many of whom have been on this ride with us since the early days, have also become like family. Together, we have sacrificed a lot as we have rebuilt, reinvented and strengthened our business. To our staff, we will be forever grateful for your commitment, hard work and loyalty.
As we look back at all the things we were able to accomplish over the last 8.5 years, one thing continues to ring true: without our customers, our business wouldn't exist.
Your continued loyalty is what helped us grow. From the bottom of our hearts, we'd like to thank you for being our customer. We thank you for choosing us to share your milestone moments with.
The birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, engagement parties, family get togethers, school reunions, end of season presentations, girls nights, work lunches, farewell parties and catch ups. We feel so privileged to have been able to help you celebrate these occasions.
We are most proud of the support we have provided to the community through sponsorships, fundraising and donations. We have been committed to directly supporting sporting groups, schools, charities and community-based organisations that assist our community with meaningful initiatives.
The Kempsey Community has always been at the forefront of our business practices. We are the proud home to two of the strongest sporting clubs in the Valley - Rovers Cricket Club and Saints Football Club. While also sponsoring local netball, soccer, rugby league, motorbike racing, athletics, and swimming. Your support has enabled us to champion causes the postcode feels passionate about like drought relief, karma kegs, the dancing for cancer fundraiser to name just a few. We are so grateful that we have been able to make a positive impact on the postcode where we were both born and bred.
We will take the pub, the team, the memories and the incredible journey with us. We will now be in the spectator's box as we to continue to watch the Top Pub flourish!
Thanks again for the last 8.5 years. It's not goodbye, it's see you later!
