The South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club's members re-elected Rod McDonagh as president for his 22nd consecutive term on Thursday October 31.

The Board of Directors were also decided upon for the 2019-20 season, which marks 100 years of Surf LIfe Saving at South West rocks.
McDonagh claims the 100th season has already started on a positive note.
"Our 100th season has got off to a very positive and productive start. We have a Bronze and Surf Rescue squad which is about to be assessed and a second squad starting before Christmas," McDonagh said.
"It has been a few years since we had two course in the one season.
"As President I am looking forward to working with the newly appointed Board of Directors and the skills which they bring to the table."
South West Rocks will host the second 'Macleay Nippers' on Sunday December 15 after the inaugural session at Hat Head followed by the Surf Life Saving Mid North Coast Branch Championships in February.
The following directors were elected for the 2019-20 season:

- Director of Marketing/Communication- Grahame Ball
- Director of Life Saving- Andrew Busch
- Director of Surf Sports- Graham (Sid) Jeffery
- Director of Junior Activities- Renee Smailes
