This is our fifth consecutive year running the 'Bronwyn Vigors - Pacific Challenge' in honour of our beloved late president.
It's shaping up to be very successful, with 63 teams entering, 14 from Queensland, and 139 games scheduled throughout the weekend. The organisers have done a wonderful job and are very pleased with the competition giving all the Associations good quality games.
For our younger age groups it is a fantastic introduction to the sport and gives a great insight to following through to representative level.
Braves have upheld the determination to make this carnival memorable - without the help of our amazing committee/coaches/assistant coaches/managers/referees this would not be possible.
The club wants the players and families to enjoy the weekend, have fun and keep returning to the Coffs Coast. It is great to see kids encouraging each other, developing friendships, showing sportsmanship and respect for their peers in sports.
Our President Shane Dunlop and Vice President Nicole Howarth have put in endless hours of hard work to continue to build this tournament for success.
Braves are holding their representative trials for the Waratah Junior Northern League 2020 season on Saturday November 30. If you are interested please visit our website at Bellinger Valley Basketball Association or our Facebook page Bellinger Valley Braves Basketball for further information.
