After starting their 2020 season against the Wingham Tigers at home, the Mustangs will take on rivals Port City Breakers in round two.
Port City and Macleay Valley have built a rivalry over the years and there are players in both sides who have pulled on the jersey for each club. The Mustangs also ended the Breakers' season in the preliminary final last season.
Round three will be one of the biggest matches of the season for the Mustangs as they will take on the Wauchope Blues in a grand final rematch.
Macleay Valley secured a 34-24 victory in the decider earlier this year but the Blues will be out for revenge at Verge St Oval on Sunday May 10.
Similar to with their matches with Port City, the Mustangs have created a rivalry with the Port Macquarie Sharks and there will be no love lost when the two sides face off in round six at Port Regional Stadium on Saturday May 30.
The neighbouring towns are always searching for bragging rights and it will be no different next season.
The final round of the season could prove a difficult one for the Mustangs. With the finals just around the corner, they will be tasked with the long trip to Old Bar, facing a side which improved in the back end of last year and celebrated a premiership in the Under-18.5s.
