The Macleay Valley Historical Society is holding a sale on a large range of historical books which focus on the local region.
The sale, which has some books up to 50 per cent off, will remain until all the books are sold.
There are also books available for purchase for the last time as printing of the publications has stopped.
Some of the local historical books include; Riverboats of the Macleay, From Go to Whoa the first 100 years of horse racing in the Macleay Valley, Letters from South Africa and The game they play in heaven - and on the Macleay.
Macleay Valley Historical Society president Phil Lee said it's a great chance to purchase the books for a cheap price and gain further knowledge on the local region.
The Kempsey Museum is open seven days a week from 10am-4pm.
