The convoy set off from Colac in Victoria and made the 1450 kilometre journey to Kempsey over two days.
Neil Cook from Country Fire Authority (CFA) organised the donations and the trip after seeing the devastation from the Carrai East bushfire first hand.
"I was up here with CFA helping out the local firefighting crews and saw the devastation the fire had on farms here," Neil said.
As well as volunteering with CFA, Neil works as an earthmover and began asking farmers he knew if they would donate any bales.
"To begin with I just thought we would be bringing up two trucks but we ended up with four, we had so many donations."
The two B-doubles and two semi-trailers delivered 148 round bales, 33 large square bales and 260 small square bales.
"Many of the farmers who donated the feed are CFA volunteers as well and the drivers all volunteered their time. I wanted the CFA volunteers to help in a different way, not just by fighting fires," Neil said.
Lisa Powlesland from the Kempsey Showground said the fodder will be distributed to farmers over the next week.
"There will be more deliveries to come from Colac, this is just the first of many more truck loads," she said.
The next delivery of hay from Victoria will arrive in Kempsey in January.
"These guys have done such an amazing job, we can't thank them enough," Lisa said.
