Hat Head Surf Life Saving Club is gearing up for a full calendar of events over the coming festive period with all funds going towards the purchase updated rescue equipment required by the surf club to keep patrolling Hat Head beach and keep the community members safe.

Boxing Day
Kicking off on Boxing day, the 49th annual Trig-boxing day spectacular will see young athletes young and old, prove their grit. Junior registration is from 8am-8.45am with race to commence 9am. Senior registration is 9am-9.45am with race to commence at 10am. Registration next to the playground Hat Head $5 juniors, $10 seniors.
In the afternoon on Boxing Day there will be the Egghead Johnston and Heff Sutherland Memorial Bowls Day at at Hat Head Bowling Club. Entry $10 per person. Names are due by 1.30pm with 2pm kick off. Prizes for Most Jovial competitor... and you can even dress up if you wish.
New Year's Day
Bring your own floating craft for the Great Creek Float on New Year's Day. Meet at the barbecue shelter 10.30am. Gold coin donation for 11am float up the creek.
January 4
A Family Fun Day is set for Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Hat Head Bowling Club from 4.30pm. There will be a babecue, raffles, jumping castle, live band, face painting, crab races and guessing competitions.
Disco and Dance party
Kids' Karaoke and Dance Party at Hat Head Bowling Club on December 30, January 6 and 13 from 6pm. Disco at Hat Head Bowling Club each Wednesday in January (1st, 8th,15th, 22nd) from 6pm. Entry is a gold coin donation.
