The event draws hundreds of people, all in their festive dress, and turns Killick Creek into a sea of red floating Santas.
This year will be the eighth annual Santa Surf, with the event kicking off at 2pm with live music. Everyone will make their way across the bridge at 3.45pm and the paddle out will start at 4pm on Christmas Eve, December 24.
The event has grown in popularity over the years and the 2019 Santa Surf promises to be bigger and better than ever with hundreds of locals and holidaymakers dressing in their best Santa inspired costumes and taking to the water on Christmas Eve.
The Argus was there last year to capture the Christmas spirit, check out the photos in the gallery above!
