Local customers and the team at the Kempsey NAB branch celebrated Leanne's hard work and dedication yesterday.

Leanne moved to Kempsey from Gosford 32 years ago with her husband after her parents moved to the area a year earlier.

"We raised our family here and now our two daughters have their own families and are raising their children here as well," Leanne said.

Leanne said working for the same branch for 32 years has allowed her to build strong relationships with customers.

"I am proud to have been with NAB for so long, I have always felt supported by them throughout the 35 years," she said.

"The customers here in Kempsey have become my close friends over the years.

"The staff here at NAB in Kempsey have always been welcoming and have made it such a nice place to work."

Branch Manager at NAB Kempsey, Marie Reid, said Leanne's dedication is priceless to the branch.

"35 years is something to celebrate. The wonderful contribution Leanne has made to the community of Kempsey for the past 32 years is also something that should be commended," she said.

"Leanne delivers customer service with passion and care, she is an important part of the team. She is a wealth of experience and knowledge and from the team at NAB we congratulate her on her 35 years."

The branch team and customers enjoyed a celebratory cake to mark the occasion.

Leanne said it's the customers who continue to make her work so rewarding.

"I want to thank the customers who have become my family. You spend a lot of time at work, so having customers who have become family is special."
