The West Kempsey Rotary Club raised more than $10,500 for local charities and those affected by the recent bushfires.
The organisation began their annual sale of raffle tickets in October last year and were impressed with the amount they managed to raise.
Remarkably, the Rotary Australia World Community service fund will match the donations of the West Kempsey Rotary Club dollar-for-dollar.
West Kempsey Rotary Club service director Brian Irvine was proud of the efforts of the rotary and the generosity of the community.
"It's great to be able to help those who have been affected in the local area by the fires," Mr Irvine told the Argus.
"It's also amazing that the Rotary Australia World Community service fund will match our donation dollar-for-dollar."
The West Kempsey Rotary Club has been raising funds through an annual raffle for more than 35 years and have raised in excess of $300,000 over the years.
