The 15-year-old has been a fan of the American version of the show since it first aired seven years ago.
"When it was always on in America, I never had the chance to audition for it, but now I can which is really exciting," Soleil said.
Soleil, who trains at Vogue Performing Arts Academy in Kempsey, spends around 20 hours each week in the studio perfecting her craft.
Soleil's mum Karine said this is a dream come true for her daughter.
"Soleil has always loved the show and has attended workshops with the original dancers from the American version and she begged me to take her to the auditions when it was announced there was going to be an Australian version of the show."
Soleil auditioned on the Central Coast last Saturday. The audition included attending five hours of classes before Nikki Webster announced Soleil would be going through to the live television auditions for the show next month.
Soleil said she was in shock when she found out she had gotten through.
"I didn't realise until the next day what had happened, I was in shock," she said.
A second Kempsey dancer from Vogue Performing Arts Academy, 10-year-old Cassidee Fernando, also auditioned for the show.
"Cassidee got a callback, so we're hoping she will also make it through to the live auditions. It would be really amazing to have two Kempsey dancers on the show," Karine said.
Over the next few weeks Soleil will be training to prepare for the live auditions.
"I'll be putting in more hours of training and will be getting in the right mindset for the auditions so that I'm prepared.
"I just want to say thank you to all of my teachers who have helped me, I'm very grateful to get through."
