Macleay schools are urging parents to abide by information released by NSW Health and the NSW Education Department in relation to the coronavirus.

As of 11am on January 30, there are four confirmed cases for the virus in NSW and six cases under investigation.
A number of schools in the Macleay region have notified their communities about the precautions via social media pages.
The NSW Education Department has released a statement and has recommended that any student who was in China over the past 14 days, should not return to school or child care services this week.
The coronavirus' incubation period can be as long as two weeks.
A spokesperson from the department said In accordance with normal protocols, staff and children who are unwell with respiratory illness should remain at home until symptoms resolve.
Schools should continue to follow the Infection Control guidelines.
The spokesperson said schools should report any suspected or confirmed cases of novel coronavirus to the local Public Health Unit.
"We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep our schools up to date on this matter," he said.
St Paul's College Kempsey has issued a statement via the school's Facebook page, asking people to contact the school if they have travelled to China recently.
"Due to the current concerns for the coronavirus and for the safety of our school community, we would like to hear from any family who may have travelled to China during the school holidays, or has been in close contact with anyone travelling to and from there," the statement read.
Meanwhile Kempsey West Public School also posted a statement on Facebook to reiterate the health of students and staff is their number one priority.
