Graham is only a recent addition to the Macleay, but the new resident is already looking to contribute to his new home by starting a local group to support men with their health and well being.

MENtors for Men incorporated was started seven years ago in Coffs Harbour and has seen steady growth since its early inception.
"The goal of a mentor, is to provide a non-judgmental ear and support to a mentee, and assist them through their life issues, this relationship can last for several months to a few years," Graham told the Argus.
"I see a need for something like this in Kempsey, I've been part of the group in Coffs since 2017, and now I hope to bring a branch here.
"I already have a couple of men lined up to join or be mentors, but I'm hoping to get a few more, then we can start up a group and begin to take referrals of mentees.
"All the training is provided, once we get the numbers, a few of the more experienced men from Coffs will come down, and we can outline the rules, meetings, and get started."
MENtors for men has people from all kinds of backgrounds, and it's this aspect that Graham says gives the group its strength.
"The Coffs group has men from all walks of life, with a wide variety of skills and experiences to share," he said.
"Volunteer mentors get to develop new friends with other men, gain free training, listen to many guest speakers and have the opportunity to share their life skills and help a mentee. The Mentor and Mentee relationship is one-on-one.
"Once you join, there is no obligation to always show up at the meetings; we have members who are quite active in the community and can't make every meeting.
"You miss out if you don't come though, we sometimes have guest speakers, barbecues and other functions."
Anybody interested in joining MENtors for men and becoming a mentor in the Kempsey region is encouraged to contact Graham on 0439 979 077.
